For those who had tickets to see the reunion of the late-'90s post-hardcore band At the Drive-In this June, we've got some bad news. The group have been forced to cancel the remaining dates on their reunion tour due to health concerns for lead singer Cedric Bixler-Zavala's vocal chords. The news came just hours before the band was set to take the stage for their show at Terminal 5 in New York City.

In the wake of the cancelation, At the Drive-In posted the following statement on their official Facebook page. “Apologies to all our fans in NYC that were coming to our show,” it read. “Cedric has a health concern with his vocal chords and can't perform this evening. It is not possible to play without furthering his injury.”

Bixler-Zavala later took to Twitter to offer up a personal apology to the fans who will miss out on seeing the band this go-around. "Guys I feel absolutely horrible but I've lost my voice. I was hoping to heal up by show time but I can barely speak," he wrote. "My sincerest apologies NYC I tried everything in my power to try and do it. I can barely talk. We promise to make it up to you."

My sincerest apologies NYC I tried everything in my power to try and do it. I can barely talk. We promise to make it up to you.
To those of you who flew and threw down your hard earned money for the love of @AtTheDriveIn I really want to thank you for your support

At the Drive-In originally disbanded in 2001, with Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodríguez-López both leaving to form The Mars Volta. The band first got together again for a short run in 2012, before a more formal and extended reunion this year.

For those who had tickets to any of the canceled dates, the band has promised full refunds, which can be obtained at the place of purchase.
