The Budweiser Made in America Festival announced its 2016 lineup Monday, and it includes some of music's biggest names. The festival will be headlined by Rihanna and Coldplay. Other notable artists appearing from the hip-hop/R&B realm will include Chance the Rapper, Grimes, DJ Khaled, Bryson Tiller, Travi$ Scott, SZA, A$AP Ferg, Tory Lanez, Lil Uzi Vert, and Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz's collaborative effort ColleGrove.
Holding things down on the EDM side are artists like Madeon and Adventure Club. 18 up-and-coming "Tidal Rising" artists will also be featured on the Tidal stage, which is meant to showcase the next generation of talent. This includes Desiigner, Kodak Black, Dave East, and Lil Yachty.
2016 marks the fifth year of the festival, which originated in Philadelphia in 2012. The festival will take place over Labor Day weekend, on Saturday, Sept. 4 and Sunday, Sept. 5. Early bird tickets are already sold out, but an exclusive presale for Tidal subscribers begins Wednesday at 10 a.m., with the general sale starting next Monday. Tickets can be purchased here once the sale begins.
If you can't make it down to Philly for the event, you can also livestream all the performances on Tidal. The Jay Z-backed streaming service is in its second year of livestreaming the Made in America Festival performances, a partnership that was unsurprising considering Jay Z's role as the festival curator.
2015's festival was headlined by Beyoncé and The Weeknd, and also featured appearances from J. Cole, Meek Mill, Bassnectar, Big Sean, and more. The 2014 festival was split between its traditional home of Philadelphia and Los Angeles, but only the Philly version remains.
