Hackney's "golden child" is just getting started.

SNE is a name that's been bubbling over for a minute now, and he even made our ones-to-watch list at the start of the year. Stomping his way through the gritty lane of road rap with R&B sensibilities and a heavy nod to trap, the London-loving rapper from Hackney has created a space that many have tried but failed to create. Following his recent collab with Nadia Rose, "GOKU"—and other mesmerising cuts like "Tiana Major" and "Rico Rodrigo"—SNE shares a new cut, "Sorry For The Wait". Produced by Penhouse, clipped 808s and a warped synth line underpin his urgent flow (and vocoder-tinged singing) as he celebrates life with bars about girls, shows and more girls. "I feel like the fans and supporters are ready for a body of work from me now," he told Complex over email. "I feel like they're ready for the essence, so I'm sorry I took long. Sorry for the wait."
