Electronic trio Rumours, with members from the UK, Norway and Italy, bring a type of electronic pop that transcends geographical boundary and could, in fact, have come from any one of those countries. On "So Bad", the first track from their debut EP Shapes, Marion, Fede and Mark craft light pop melodies by way of Marion and Mark's dueling vocals with deep electro grooves for a track that works just as well in tinny ear buds as it does blaring out of a high end speaker system. When pressed on the meaning behind "So Bad", the band explained that it's "fairly simple: it's about the relationship between two people." You can catch Rumours at their EP launch party on July 7 at the Ace Hotel in Shoreditch. Their Shapes EP lands on July 8.
