Premiere: Watch Joshua Luke Smith's New Video For "Carry Me"

"Home is an identity without illusion, without the confusion of trying to be someone we are not."

Introduced to us last year with the release of his Your Beauty EP, Joshua Luke Smith's sound is one that travels across contemporary rap and acoustic pop-soul, producing a world-weary, heartfelt, relatable brand of penmanship. The man from Bath's latest release is a visual for "Carry Me", produced and directed by James Green. "Carry Me" is a song on homecoming, as Joshua explained to us via email: "Home is an identity without illusion, without the confusion of trying to be someone we are not. We all get distracted, disappointed, and at times disillusioned with who we are and where we're at but there's hope in knowing you can change direction. There's hope in knowing you can always return home." Watch the video exclusively above.
