Halsey has been more than busy lately, conquering Coachella and traveling the world on her Badlands Tour, but she comes through today with a new song to satiate the her fans who have been quietly thirsting for new music. On the track titled "Tokyo Narita (Freestyle)," Halsey recruits none other than her close friend and Badlands producer Lido.

It's no accident Lido draws us in with the distant sound of an airplane taking off since the two were recently flying across the world for Halsey's Japanese tour dates. The song quickly dips into a fuzzed out speakerbox of lo-fi sounds and quick quips from Halsey about listening to Drake's Views on some decent speakers, driving her manager's Mercedes, and leaving the Vogue party to get some pizza later. The whole thing sounds like an accurate timestamp of Halsey's current pandemonium, living in hotel rooms and hanging at the Met Ball

If you listen carefully, you can hear sweet, little production bread crumbs left for us by Lido including a shout out to Halsey's "Castle," which she recently performed at the MTV Movie Awards. Halsey also takes it back to Badlands by quoting her own song "Drive."

This weekend, you can catch Halsey presenting at the Billboard Music Awards before stopping by The Grammy Museum for a very special performance on May 23. From there, she jumps back into her Badlands Tour, playing Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza on the way before she returns home to play a sold out Madison Square Garden at the end of summer. Listen to the duo's new track below. You can also check out Complex's interview with Lido where he opened up about Halsey's inspiration on his new album, working with Jaden Smith, and more.
