Gucci Mane is finally free from federal custody and back to doing what he's always done: crafting pointed, syrupy trap bangers. His latest single, released less than 24 hours after he finally regained his freedom, is titled "First Day Out Tha Feds" and was produced by none other than Mike WiLL Made-It. The thirst for new material by Guwop was certainly intense. According to a report by Forbes, in only a day, the single has notched over 1.1 million streams on SoundCloud—of that figure, nearly 900,000 came within the first 12 hours.

It's a huge win for Gucci and a real signal that one of the great pioneers of trap music hasn't lost step in his absence. The fan love all over Twitter and other forms of social media has been intense and celebratory. One diehard even walked out on his job when he heard the news. Guwop himself has been basking in the love and throwing shout-outs to all the people that stood by him over the last two years.

I thank everyone who supported
and I thank everyone who discouraged.
Happy New Year everyone. 2016 is the year of Guwop

With "First Day Out Tha Feds" out in the public arena, Gucci is wasting little time in plotting his next move. He's already tweeted about an impending Gucci Mane & Friends tour this September and is said to be hard at work on a new tape that could drop at any minute. In the meantime, while you wait on all of these other projects to develop, check out Guwop's latest single below to help pad the stats.
