From June 3 to Sept. 16, We Are Rockstars will be taking over the Ibiza Rocks Hotel for a massive 16 weeks of parties, residencies and pool parties. Stormzy will kick off the season with the first of four #MERKY residencies at Ibiza Rocks on June 3, featuring R&B men-of-the-moment WSTRN and 1Xtra's Charlie Sloth. Then, on June 10, D&B maestro Wilkinson will be headlining the Metropolis takeover, alongside Ms. Dynamite, DJ Luck & MC Neat plus drum and bass collective North Base. If anthemic D&B is more your pace, Sigma will return for the third year running to smash the crowd with Big Narstie and Mistajam.
The crown in July's crown has to be DJ EZ who, after raising over £60,000 for Cancer Research UK, is bringing his low-end madness to the island with Majestic, Yungen and Patrick Nazemi on July 15. And if that wasn't enough bassline for you, Hannah Wants will be taking the stage the following week (July 22) with Monki, Billy Kelly and Nazemi. Rounding off July's bass-fuelled hedonism is Kurupt FM who bring their infamous Champagne Steam Room club night to the island with appearances from Lady Leshurr and So Solid Crew. Then, on Aug. 26, golden boy Elf Kid will take to the stage alongside house don Apexape in support of Example and DJ Wire.
As September approaches and the last leg of parties hit, you can catch Rinse FM's takeover on Sept. 2 (featuring Wiley & Slimzee, Redlight and Sam Supplier) and the final #MERKY takeover (featuring Toddla T, Coco and Patrick Nazemi). Then, for the closing party, proceedings will peak with a David Rodigan takeover that features Lady Leshurr and Patrick Nazemi.
