Dutch producer Olaf Stuut has been steady grinding for a minute now, cultivating a solid reputation working with and remixing for the likes of The Acid, Max Cooper and Tonik Ensemble. Now he's got his own album coming out, Run (due June 10), and we've got the opening track "Maze" to share with you exclusively. Kicking off the LP, the track features Marlon Penn (the first of two collaborations with the singer), delivering a haunting, twisted vocal turn to Stuut's intense production. Elsewhere the spirit of Arthur Russell, early Nine Inch Nails and even more abstract influences are channeled into a chilly yet emotionally rich crescendo of melody and rhythm. A stunning collection for sure—here's hoping the two work together again in the future.
