Last month, more than a few heads were turned when a gigantic, 20-foot tall mural depicting Kanye West showed up on the side of a building in Australia. Now the artist who painted the image is cashing in on his controversial work. Scott Marsh revealed on Instagram yesterday that he's sold a print of the image for $100,000 dollars to an unknown buyer. "If anyone needs me I'll be at the #lordgladstone drinking from the topshelf," the artist wrote after the sale. He then posted an image of himself painting over the mural with the caption, "It's been real Yeezy."

Shortly after images of the painting went viral over the Internet, Marsh revealed that someone West's camp had actually approached him to take it down. In exchange for painting over his work, the artist demanded exactly $100,000 and a lifetime supply of Adidas Yeezys Boosts. With the buyer remaining anonymous, its entirely plausible given the sale price that West himself stepped in to front the cash. Be sure to keep an eye out for Marsh's shoe game in the coming months.
