According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kesha’s mother,Rosemary “Pebe” Sebert, has dismissed her counterclaims against Dr. Luke, who she accused of intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress. She also believed that Dr. Luke was lying about her involvement in Kesha’s career, specifically as a songwriter.

On Tuesday, Sebert voluntarily withdrew her counterclaims and split with her attorney Mark Geragos.

"The litigation with Dr. Luke has been a nightmare for Mrs. Sebert and her family," said Pebe's attorney Alex Little. "She has decided to move on and find peace and forgiveness in her heart rather than dwelling in the cancerous past of an ongoing lawsuit with no end in sight."

In the last two months, during the apex of Kesha and Dr. Luke’s legal battle, Sebert has stated on Twitter that the producer tried to blackmail her into taking her name off as a writing credit for Kesha’s “Timber.” She also opened up about how her daughter was a prisoner during her working relationship with Dr. Luke. These claims have prompted Dr. Luke to sue Pebe in Tennessee on claims of defamation and tortious interference.

Earlier this month, a judge in New York dismissed Kesha’s sexual assault case against Dr. Luke. She is still in a multi-album contract with Sony.
