J-Rocc dropped a hot mix of the songs and samples of Mobb Deep's album The Infamous today, and it's definitely a must-listen. The 25-minute mix incorporates tons of snippets, samples, and tracks used on the Mobb Deep album, but mashes them together in a totally new and interesting way.
He released the mix to help promote the re-release of The Infamous for Record Store Day tomorrow. The album will be available on colored vinyl for the first time ever. Only 2,000 copies will be available however, so if you're trying to get one, it's advisable to grab it as soon as possible. The Infamous was Mobb Deep's breakout album, and is considered by many to be a hip-hop classic. It features rappers like Nas, Ghostface Killah, and Q-Tip, and was originally released in 1995.
