TDE's CEO Reveals the Label Will Drop a New Project This Week

We need this ASAP.

Top Dawg Entertainment's CEO has revealed the label is dropping a new project this week. In an Instagram post, Top Dawg tells fans, "Ive decided 2 drop a project 1 day this week. I won't say wut day or who. It cud be 2nite So don't ask me jus stay close to the net. Is this Kool with y'all? #TDE." The executive's post has been blowing up with guesses of who the new project could be from, and with artists ranging from SZA to Kendrick Lamar, you can't go wrong with the eventual pick.

This news arrives on the heels of an Instagram post yesterday from Top Dawg that updated fans on the company's plan for releases in 2016. The most exciting part of the post listed artists labeled as "John Doe 1" and "John Doe 2," which means TDE has expanded its roster. The string of announcements follows a pretty quiet time for the label that most recently only saw them releaseJay Rock's 90059 album last September, a few Isaiah Rashad singles, and of course a monstrous performance from Kendrick at Grammys. Since its been so quiet for the label's artists lately, it's anyone's guess whose project will be dropping this week.

thats all u get from #TDE fam... we do shit our way...we don't rush for nobody.. https://t.co/WQp1aZbD09
