SBTRKT continues his comeback with "I Feel Your Pain" which just debuted on BBC's Radio 1. The song finds SBTRKT teaming up with D.R.A.M. and Mabel to unleash an almost schizophrenic performance that is one part tension-filled beats and one part a pulsating, downtempo jam featuring some very cool tripped-out vocals. In the interview with host Annie Mac, SBTRKT promised that his last two releases are only the beginning of more new music to come. He also said he is trying to break out of the three-year cycle of recording, touring, and hibernating so that he can share music more often. Yesterday, SBTRKT released his first song in nearly two years with The-Dream titled, "Good Morning." The song marked his first release since 2014's full length Wonder Where We Land

On top of that, SBTRKT is trying to put together listening events for his fans to check out his music. As he puts it, the Save Yourself listening events are to allow his fans to “be the first to hear new music [he’s] made." The first session actually went down last night with fans from his mailing list. "Just fans. no sponsors. no press event," he captioned a picture he took from the event on his iPhone. It's clear the masked producer is trying to make himself more accessible to his fans. Unfortunately, it seems that SBTRKT won't be bringing these special events to the U.S. anytime soon, according to his response to a fan on Twitter. Instead, he says he "has plans for something else later this year." Only time will tell what else SBTRKT has cooking up. For now, listen to "I Feel Your Pain" below.
