Ahead of her headline show at the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen on March 9, London-based songstress Espa shares new track "141". On the topic of regret and reconciliation, in the aftermath of a relationship ending, it's a warm and emotive slice of downtempo R&B-soul. Co-produced by John Calvert, Tim Deal and Todd Oliver, Espa describes the song as a "signpost" for the direction of her new sound, a slight departure from the brooding, left-field productions of her previous works. Stepping closer to the soul-pop sphere with relative ease—following her turn with Giggs on "Swan Song"—Espa opens up the passage for another rapper in Bonkaz to help round out the story. Stream "141" exclusively below.
