After meeting at a party at Cardiff University, and trading in their guitars for decks, Bodhi quickly set about establishing themselves as a production/remix outfit to be reckoned with. Very quickly they amassed remix credits for The xx and Sampha as well as releases on Ten Thousand Yen, Future Classic, Exploited, Rinse and more. Now, just three years after their name first appeared on a record, the duo have just released their new single, "Step It Back", on party-starting label Black Butter (who also released their Howler EP last year). With a big, juicy bassline at its heart, the boys tie around that elements of jackin' house, Chicago house and deep house into something dense, bouncy and full of fun, and very Black Butter.
