While there's no sign of any more new music from Jay Electronica, the elusive MC is about to hit the road for a short North American tour that is set to get underway at the end of March. Jay will perform in San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, San Diego, and Sacramento, though it's unknown if any more dates will be added later. The news of these performances comes just a few weeks after Jay canceled a show with DOOMSTARKS that was supposed to take place at SXSW last week. The tour, which will kick off next week and run through the middle of April, looks to be mostly club shows, and tickets are already on sale for the shows here. Jay last hit the road for an extended period of time in 2014 when he joined Common for the Nobody's Smiling tour.

Though Jay has yet to gift his fans with his long-awaited new album, he has been in headlines recently, but for all of the wrong reasons. First, there was his minor back and forth with 50 Cent, and then there was Jay's issues with Kendrick Lamar, which resulted in Kendrick potentially sending some shots at Jay on his song "untitled 07 | 2014 - 2016." You can check out the full list of tour dates below.
