Earlier tonight, Oliver El-Khatib was live in the studio with Noah “40” Shebib for episode 18 of OVO Sound Radio. Anxious fans can only hope that they were fine tuning Drake’s Views from the 6.
After premiering his mix featuring a new song from Toronto’s SAFE ("Don't Worry"), dvsn gave listeners a plentiful amount of throwback R&B cuts ranging from Maxwell to Ciara. dvsn’s mix also previewed two more songs from their album Sept. 5th —“In + Out” and “Do It Well.” Afterwards, 40 revealed their album would be available on iTunes and Apple Music at midnight.
OVO Sound’s newest signee was very mysterious up until their SXSW performance at the FADER Fort. We’ve done some digging on our own, but the big reveal came when dvsn made their debut at the FORT. They performed songs like “Hallucinations” and “With Me,” which were perfect previews for new fans to pick up their LP.
