Doomstarks Set to Perform at SXSW

The duo is being billed as "Live From The Other Side"

Yesterday was the first official day of the annual SXSW music and film festival where hundreds of bands and artists from across the world descend on Austin, TX to perform a wide range of sets across multiple venues. This year's lineup featured some pretty impressive names - President Barack Obama for one who gave the keynote speech - but amongst the more interesting is the revelation that the elusive hip-hop entity known as Doomstarks are slotted to perform.

Penciled in as the headliners for the SXSW Takeover on March 17, the duo of MF Doom and Wu-Tang Clan's Ghostface Killah, the two will perform on a card that also features Jay Electronica and Jazz Cartier. Being billed as "Live From The Other Side" you have to wonder if they are going to appear live in person, or show up by some kind of webcam or projection system. Either way, the fact that Doom and Ghost are back at it again together is an undeniably good thing. Could a new album be on the horizon?
