Watch The Arresting Video For ANOHNI's "Drone Bomb Me" Starring Naomi Campbell

Starring none other than Naomi Campbell.

Former Antony & The Johnsons founder ANOHNI has released more politically-charged goodness with the new video for "Drone Bomb Me". The single is lifted from her forthcoming album, Hopelessness, and continues to generate understandable hype, what with it being co-produced by Hudson Mohawke and Oneohtrix Point Never. Slick in production and powerful in message, she describes "Drone Bomb Me" as a "love song from the perspective of a girl whose family has been killed by a drone looking at the sky simply wanting to be killed by a drone bomb too." So drone bomb me is woozily bellowed throughout the track—alongside some disgruntled choreography—which creates an eerie yet ethereal effect.

The video stars supermodel and actress Naomi Campbell, who lip-syncs the track, and is solemnly shot crying whilst scantily clad along with what looks like a Statue of Liberty-esque head piece that further accentuates the vibe of anti-war propaganda. "I just want to write songs with teeth as sharp as my thoughts," ANOHNI says of the brooding number as a condemnation against drone campaigns. Wrap your ears and eyes round the piece above. Hopelessness drops on May 6 via Secretly Canadian.
