Thanks again for everyone's concern. She's home and running about as usual. Just the flu in the end. I may go get a flu shot now...

Legendary artist Yoko Ono was rushed to a hospital in Manhattan for extreme flu-like symptoms. A initial report by Page Six indicated she suffered a possible stroke, but her publicist Elliot Mintz denies that.

Sources say the 83-year-old called her doctor at around 9 PM on Friday evening because she wasn't feeling well. Mintz says Ono took the advice of her doctor and admitted herself to the hospital.

Ono was taken by ambulance to Mount Sinai Roosevelt hospital where she was being treated overnight. She is expected to be released tomorrow.

Ono is famously known as a multimedia artist who is the widow of Beatles front man John Lennon.
