Recently, Manchester-based label Big People Music released a new eight-track compilation, We. Did. That. #001, as a free download from their Bandcamp page. There was a new bass-heavy cut from King Burga (fka Burga Boy), a Michael Jackson cover from Morris Cowan and Tom Edney, and some future classics from rising stars. What really caught our ear was Star. One's politically-charged "The Saviour". We've been hearing a lot about the new wave of politically-mindedgrime spitters, but spare a thought for this rousing grime instrumental that manages to say as much as any MC with the duo's inventive use of samples, including snippets from Cameron and Corbyn alike, as well as protestors from both sides of the Atlantic.
