Kesha's fans have organized a protest outside the Sony headquarters today in New York City and are pleading with the company to free the singer from her contract with Dr. Luke amidst her ongoing legal battle with the producer. They are holding signs that read "Free Kesha" and are even Periscoping the protest. As the rally is going on, her fans are encouraging others who can't be there to tweet out "Drop Luke to Free Kesha," which is current trending on Twitter in the United States. One fan noted on Twitter, "Dr. Luke's 5 year producing contract with Sony is about to expire. Cut ties with Kemosabe, terminate the contract, Drop Luke To Free Kesha!" Yesterday, the company released a statement that they have supported the singer any way they can, but that they are "legally unable to terminate the contract to which it is not a party."

The fan's demonstration follows a week of outpouring support from the music industry for Kesha. Adele publicly voiced her support while accepting a Brit Award, Taylor Swiftdonated $250,000 to help Kesha out financially, Demi Lovato called for women empowerment, and Lady Gagainundated her social media with words of encouragement along with many others, including Ariana Grande, Alessia Cara, Jack Antonoff, Zedd, and Fiona Apple. The string of support follows a New York judge's ruling last week to deny Kesha her preliminary injunction asking to be released from her contract with Dr. Luke. Kesha and Dr. Luke each released personal statements in light of the decision to state their side and thank those individuals that are supporting them.

Today, Kesha's lawyer, Mark Geragos, posted a video of her singing to her fans to thank them once again for their unwavering support. "I don't know what I would do without you. I don't know where I would be without you," she sings eyes-closed. The video is only part of a clip of a song and cuts Kesha off before she can finish. You can listen to the clip below.
