SpaceGhostPurrp and A$AP Rocky have been at odds for a while after once being down with each other. Following a diss track aimed at A$AP Yams and Rocky by Black Money Boys member Chxpo, SpaceGhostPurrp told his side of the nearly five-year beef in a lengthy SoundCloud confession.
SpaceGhostPurrp claims the person behind tensions between the Raider Klan and A$AP Mob is A$AP Bari. He says him and Rocky didn’t have any problems since they were “the stars” of their entourages, and told a story about a meeting where he tried to make peace with Bari.
“Pride is a sin. Not to contradict myself. The leader said, ‘Fuck you, I don’t fuck with you.’ He flipped it on me because he knew that in the situation, I came with the light, so he flipped it. But you know, it’s cool. I didn’t come out here on some disrespect,” he said.
SpaceGhostPurrp further claims Bari said those words because he was envious. Bari felt SpaceGhostPurrp was getting bigger than him in popularity, so he wanted to disrespect him in front of his entourage to teach him a lesson. SpaceGhostPurrp recalls Bari saying that he made him, meaning he created SpaceGhostPurrp's dark style.
Later on in his explanation, SpaceGhostPurrp goes into detail about a situation that occurred at A3C involving a cousin he brought under his wing. This person, who SpaceGhostPurrp states directed his “Bloody Mary” video, says he set SpaceGhostPurrp up to get ambushed by A$AP Mob members and affiliates at a house party, where an alleged shootout between the two parties occurred. More disrespect came from his rivals, specifically talking bad about SpaceGhostPurrp's deceased brothers. Once again, he claims that the beef was really with Bari, and not Rocky.
The rest of the SpaceGhostPurrp’s explanation goes deeper into more things that happened behind the scenes. He believes all his actions were justified and based on principle. He claims Bari and the A$AP Mob started a war with the Raider Klan, where they often played the victim. After years of pent-up frustration, SpaceGhostPurrp is finally retaliating with the truth.
He then addresses Chxpo’s diss at the late A$AP Yams, saying, “My ni**a Chxpo been saying he was gonna do it off the strength that he fed up with the disrespect. We fed up with the disrespect. Then when we get disrespectful and put it on wax, ni**as want to play the victim. We don’t give a fuck about getting clout from you ni**as.”
