Right at the end of last year, Novelist uploaded the "David Cameron Riddim" and in the following weeks his anger towards Cameron and the Tories hasn't waned. Last night, the young MC uploaded "Street Politician" to YouTube and, in no time at all, it was doing the rounds on social media. Produced by revered hip-hop and beat producer Nick Hook, "Street Politician" makes powerful use of a sample of Cameron's 2011 speech in response to the London riots. "Fuck these feds, they don't give a damn about the mandem," spits Nov over an abrasive, bass-heavy beat that owes as much to industrial music as it does to the grimey sounds of London. It's harsh and caustic; a visceral expression of the anger felt by those who've suffered most under Tory rule.

Possibly even more exciting than that was a subsequent tweet Nick sent to Nov:

Don't toy with us, guys.
