This is unexpected.

Riders of the London Underground got a big surprise yesterday when they encountered none other than Fatman Scoop busking to a cover of Amy Winehouse's "Valerie." The famous hip-hop personality and hype man took to the train platform semi-incognito to accompany the song with some spirited shouts of "What?" and "Let's go!" While it's not the most amazing undercover subway performance we've ever seen (shout out to Brandi), it's certainly interesting to see Scoop laying it down amongst the common folk of public transportation.

Fatman Scoop is perhaps best known for his song "Be Faithful," which topped the charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and several other European countries back in 2003. He's also appeared on songs like Missy Elliot's "Lose Control" and Mariah Carey's "It's Like That," and hosted a radio show on New York's Hot 97 for several years.
