It's been far too long since André 3000 has released any new music, but hope is once again restored based on a new interview 3 Stacks recently did with Billboard. During the conversation, which was mostly about André's role in the new ABC series American Crime, he mentioned that he's always recording and he would love to try and figure out some type of music to do. "I’d like to put out some kind of music project, but we’ll see," André said. That news is definitely encouraging, but it's also something that we've heard too many times before.
As far other music that he's listening to right now, André said that Kid Cudi's new album, Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven, is "awesome." André also talked about his recent collaboration with Erykha Badu and revealed that their son, Seven, had a lot to do with it coming together. "I’m happy it happened. It was a great reunion, because I don’t think people have heard a song from us in ages," he said. You can read the full interview here.
