According to drummer Travis Barkera new Blink-182 album is locked in for 2016. Barker took to the comment section of one of his own Instagram posts earlier this week to reveal the news, replying to a fan asking about his plans for the new year, according to Billboard. The biggest question then is whether or not guitarist Tom DeLonge will be involved given his "friendly divorce" from the group earlier this year. (That's the phrase Mark Hoppus used following an initial statement that DeLonge would be absent from a festival performance in January.)

In September DeLonge retreaded a bit, offering the possibility that he'll return to the vacant spot since filled by guitarist Matt Skiba. "I'm totally willing and interested in playing with those guys again," DeLonge told Billboard. "I love those guys and I love the band and, yeah, in the future let's play together and figure it out or whatever. We just need time apart because we all want different things at this time."
