The Beatles are set to finally appear on music streaming services, according to a Billboard source close to the negotiations.

The iconic English rock band has held out from all streaming services for a long time. Although the exact date of when this will happen hasn’t been confirmed by Billboard, they have strong indications to believe fans will be able to stream “Hey Jude” on Dec. 24, which is Christmas Eve.The deal allegedly happened this past January.

Spearheaded by Universal Music Group digital executive Rob Wells, papers were reportedly signed in mid-September. Although we don’t know which services have secured the deal, many (if not all) will have access to The Beatles’ catalogue next week.Pandora is a rare exception to have The Beatles on their platform because of how “non-demand” web radio is licensed.

Representatives for Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Rhapsody, Deezer and Slacker did not provide an official statement. If the rumors were true, The Beatles would join Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and John Lennon who have popped up on streaming services in recent years.
