Alongside Novelist, Elf Kid always stood out in The Square, both in terms of style and flow. Whenever you heard "Elf is world", you just knew some solid bars were about to follow. Now, after sharing the Jamie xx-produced "Oh Gosh", Elf Kid's continuing his solo run with the visuals for "Golden Boy" (out now via No Hats No Hoods), a track which did the rounds on SoundCloud not so long back. Keeping it light and playful, he spits some of the year's most quotable bars over producer Lolingo's choppy, guitar-sampling beat. It's good to see Elf Kid striking out successfully on his own and, if there's any justice, he'll keep linking up with the best producers he can find.
