After traveling across the country to play his new album for his fans, Logic dropped his highly-anticipated sophomore album The Incredible True Story last week. Recently, the Maryland rapper stopped by the Beats HQ office to play the entire album for the staff and discuss the making of his new album. "[This] whole concept that I made on the second album is about space and inspired by anime and all of these things, but the way that I cut it up is like — if you don't give a damn about any of that sci-fi stuff, you can just enjoy the music."

On his sophomore effort, Logic immerses the listener into an unprecedented stratosphere of hip-hop that provides a safe-space for him to musically explore after some in the hip-hop community didn't embrace his debut effort. "I guess almost as a metaphor for my first album," he explains. "So, I decided to make my own planet, my own world essentially that's filled with like-minded people. So the fans and the people who I make the music for will love this album."
