Due to recent events, the topic of ghostwriting has rekindled some nearly all of its controversy and inspired a slew of artists to speak out about the practice. In a recent interview with Time, Rick Ross decided to open up about his own career as "one of the biggest" ghostwriters in the industry:

How did your time in the headlines shape the direction of the album?
