Premiere: Le Galaxie Get Tripped Out And "Put The Chain On"

"We wanted to make the band almost seamless with the visuals."

Dublin-based band Le Galaxie arrive with the video for "Put The Chain", a track taken from their new Le Club album (out now). Equal parts Jackson Pollack and early MTV, it's a vibrantly colourful sequence that sees the band's silhouettes dance frenetically in front of the swirling pool of colours like a technicolour fireplace. It's a perfect match for the taut indie-electro designs of the band and a neat reflection of frontman Michael Pope's rich vocal turn that swoops and soars throughout the track.

Feel Good Lost's Brendan Canty, who directed the video, said it was "inspired by the LA sunset imagery that the song evokes." He continued: "The colours that we feel when we listen to the band, and the pure blistering energy of their live show, is what we set out to capture in an abstract video. We wanted to make the band almost seamless with the visuals." And they certainly are. Never has a song and its visuals appeared so interconnected and essential to one another.

Make sure you catch Le Galaxie's headline show at Electrowerkz on Nov. 25.
