Mobb Deep's Prodigy is not too pleased with his label. Although Mobb Deep is signed to Universal as a group, Prodigy claims that the label has also been taking 50% of the royalties from his solo work, something that the group's contract doesn't allow. According to TMZ, he's initiated a lawsuit against the company, seeking to recover $57,498 in money he believes they took from him unjustly. He's seeking a full refund of all that money, plus attorney fees. So far, there's been no official comment from Universal, but with a lawsuit pending, that's likely to change. Prodigy has released a number of solo albums over the years, the most recent of which have been 2014's Young Rollin' Stonerz with Boogz Boogetz and 2013's Albert Einstein with Alchemist.
