Last week, M.I.A. made a triumphant return with her newest song "Borders" that quickly became one of our Top 25 Songs You Need To Listen To Right Now. The anti-anthem battle cry reverberated with a resounding social message. M.I.A. now delivers the video for "Borders," which features the singer surrounded by sky-scraping gates and overcrowded boats in a series of powerful imagery that alludes to the world's very current refugee crisis.

On Twitter, M.I.A. shared a message with her fans that the video is dedicated to her Uncle Bala who she describes as her "icon and role model" and one of the first Tamil migrants to arrive to the UK in the 60s.
