Mr. Beatnick's Mix For DJ Mag

Ahead of his appearance at London's EGG this weekend, Mr. Beatnick has put together this mix of slow-burning house and techno. There's a lot of soulful elements in this one, giving it some much-needed colour in this increasingly bleak month. The skies are getting darker and the nights longer so put this one on and try to forget that.

DJ EZ's 'OS V1' And 'NS V1' Mixes

OK, this is arguably a little bit of a cheat on our part. We know, we know, these are technically two mixes but we'd argue they're two halves of the same coin and therefore valid for inclusion. Also, it's EZ, so shush! On OS V1EZ collects together 2-step and UKG classics from the late '90s and early '00s, while on OS V2 we get to hear, well... surely it's obvious, isn't it? It's new stuff. Still within the realms of UK garage, 2-step and bassline, but right on the bleeding edge of it all.

Sam Tiba's Mix For Not Dead Yet & High Snobiety

Following the release of his Not Dead Yet EP last month, Club Cheval's Sam Tiba delivers this mix of classic French hip-hop, Jersey club and fast-paced rave music. The Club Cheval group (Sam Tiba, Canblaster, Panteros666 and Myd) are widely known for the fun-loving and exciting DJ sets and this mix is no different, a perfect reason to catch any and all CC members live as soon as you can.

Maceo Plex's 'Essential' Mix

Maceo Plex has been hot-on-the-block for quite a while now. Pretty much as soon as he started his career, a buzz developed. With his new album, Solar, due out in early next year, the BBC invited him to put down his own two-hour Essential Mix, which was recorded on his birthday incidentally. "For my birthday I've decided to just play whatever I want," he explained, "exploring many styles old and new, and not necessarily for the dancefloor."

Toddla T's 'Notting Hill Carnival 2015' Mix For THUMP

Carnival may be a distant memory now, but who better to help us relive those heady—albeit wet—days than one of carnival's loudest and proudest standard-bearers, Toddla T? Expect plenty of madness in the form of grime, hip-hop, dancehall, bashment and more than a couple of surprises to keep you on your toes.

Inkke's 'Unreleased Tracks 2012-2015' Mix

Back in September, Glasgow's Inkke sold this mix in a limited run of 50 signed-and-stamped CD copies, but thankfully, he's just made it available for streaming. Here he's collected together a phenomenal number of unreleased exclusives that he's accumulated over the years. As you'd expect from the man behind Faded With Da Kittens and Crystal Children, there's a vast range of styles at play, from ballroom to grime to more experimental, unplaceable sounds.

Mala's Mix For Boiler Room

It's hard to believe Mala hadn't done a Boiler Room session before now. And since the crowd—and the Boiler Room fam—had waited so long for this moment, the excitement to see the Deep Medi founder was palpable. As ever, Mala's selections are inspired and he makes light work of balancing crowd-pleasers and unknown dubstep treasures.

Dinamo Azari's Mix For Beats In Space

Dinamo Azari has made an admirable job of striking out on his own since the four members of Azari & III parted ways. There's been a number of remixes and singles out of his camp since then (including one of our favourites, a tech-house remix of In Flagranti's "Double Talk") but the big news is the impending release of his new album, Estranged. We're pretty excited about that album coming out so, to tide us all over, here's a new mix of beautiful techno featuring the man himself alongside Carl Craig, Model 500, Paranoid London and more.

Max Graef & Glenn Astro's 'Ninja Tune 25th Anniversary' Mix

You'd be hard pressed to escape the news of Ninja Tune's 25th birthday this year, and we've already shared a couple of remixes by Solid Steel boss DK to celebrate the occasion. But we couldn't let this one slip by without telling you about it. In blending everything from ragga jungle to African funk, it seems Max Graef and Glenn Astro have found their perfect home at Ninja Tune.

Aïsha Devi's 'Let's Talk About The Invisible' Mix For Dummy

Aïsha Devi only released her Of Matter And Spirit album last month and yet she doesn't seem to have taken any time off at all. A myriad of radio appearances and live shows have followed in quick succession. Between all that she's managed to find time to put together this mind-expanding collection of off-kilter beats and emotive soundscapes. So sit back, relax, and take in a genre-sprawling mix that spans everything from Objekt to post-punk experimentalists, Dead Can Dance.
