After consulting over 140 music writers, radio presenters, and industry figures, the BBC have announced their full longlist for the Sound Of 2016. Among the nominees are a few Complex favourites, like J Hus (pictured above), Dua Lipa, WSTRN, Loyle Carner, NAO and south London's Section Boyz, several of whom we tipped for big things this year. The list has a pretty solid success rate in terms of predicting who will go on to have huge levels of success: Sam Smith and Adele have both won in the past, and last year saw indie-pop group Years & Years beat the likes of Stormzy and Novelist to the top spot. Check out the full longlist below, and get to know J Hus in our recent interview.

The top five acts will be revealed at the beginning of January, with the 2016 winner announced on January 8. Read more about it here.
