Adele On The Delay of '25': "I Just Couldn't Access Myself"

No topic is off limits for the singer's first interview in three years.

Adele is back. Her new song "Hello" is a heart-stomping masterpiece that has already broken records including the most views on Vevo in 24 hours (beating out Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood"). It's now the top song on iTunes in 102 countries and is expected to reach the coveted No. 1 spot on Billboard's Hot 100. With her new record due out Nov. 20, the hype for 25 has just begun and Adele has secured a spot as Saturday Night Live's musical guest on Nov. 21, too.

Today, her first interview in three years was released as the cover to i-D Magazine. Conducted by Hattie Collins (who interviewed Adele for the mag both when 19 and 21 came out), the interview dives deep into a myriad of topics including motherhood, rejection of her early cuts for the album (her manager and producer savant Rick Rubin both did not like the songs) along with an in-depth preview of tracks off the album. Of course, she also talks about her love for The Walking Dead and wanting to see Britney Spears in Las Vegas (who doesn't). Read some highlights from the interview below.
