A lot of grime MCs are making surprising moves this year, pushing the boundaries and themselves into whole new territories. Having only recently contributed to our frankly amazing #GRIMETIMEWARP mixtape, Jon E Clayface is back but in a very different context. Here he teams up with German production duo DRILL DRILL for the house-leaning, bass-fuelled monster "Cali Luv". There are also a few trappy elements at play here and it's an interesting take on the grime-meets-trap fusion that seems to be increasing in popularity right now. It's certainly not the kind of blend we normally hear between the two sounds. This is just one in a long line of reasons why a lot of eyes are on Clayface right now.
