Last year's Complex cover star Lana Del Rey has finally released her highly-anticipated fourth studio album titled Honeymoon. The singer has been offering us tastes of the album all summer, with the release of the title track "Honeymoon" and the second single "High By The Beach." Subsequent releases including "Terrence Loves You" and "Salvatore" cemented Lana's return to her Born To Die roots as pop hooks began to take hold with strong currents of Ultraviolence simultaneously surging her sound. It all makes sense when you learn that the prime producer of both Rick Nowels was one of three people behind her newest effort (the other two were Lana and her long-time collaborator and engineer Kieron Menzies). One listen finds Lana returning to her old tune of love and longing and old Hollywood with some dangerous men once again populating the lyrics.

Underneath everything, Lana mixes her period passions of film noir and rat-pack romance with elements of jazz and bruised blues before twisting it all into modernity with chopped and screwed production. The result is nearly timeless.

Listen to Honeymoon below on Spotify or stream it over on Apple Music out now on Polydor/Interscope.
