Jay Rock is the next artist from TDE’s roster to release a project this year, but it hasn’t been without false starts.
After the Watts-bred rapper revealed the tracklist and artwork to 90059, details were kept to minimum about the official release date. At first, it was sometime in 2016. Then it was December of this year. Now (per Jay Rock’s Twitter account), he’s announced that Sept. 11 is the release date, which is next week. This must mean that pre-orders exceeded expectations.
