DJ Clark Kent was heavily involved in the early days of Jay Z's career. He produced "Brooklyn's Finest," "Coming of Age," "Cashmere Thoughts" on his debut Reasonable Doubt. The legendary DJ also has some stories that have never been heard before. During his interview on the podcast A Waste of Time with ItsTheReal, Clark revealed Jay Z had a Tupac diss record that was never released because of his death. However,  Jay still decided to perform it at the Apollo to a stunned crowd.

Clark's exact quote:

"Jay did a record going at Pac but right as it was about to go out, son died. We performed it though. We was at the Apollo. It was...scathing. Crowds was like, oh shit."

The record was in response to "Bomb First," the intro cut on The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory, the last album Pac recorded when he was alive. He also gives insight on ghostwriting and shares some great stories about 50 Cent, Puffy, Dame Dash, Nas, Dr. Dre, and more.
