Last night, Rinse FM OG Plastician dropped a remix of his 2005 grime remix of Mike Jones’ “Still Tippin’” today with vocals coming from the big man himself: Skepta. With a new album on the way (please be soon), the Boy Better Know MC's been utterly slaying it. "Shutdown" and even "That's Not Me" are still welcome additions to any playlist. And then there was "Lukey World", an emotionally raw ode to a lost friend.
This new cut, "Back Then," kind of sits in between those two worlds; he's taken Plastician's "Still Tippin" (which remixes Mike Jones' "Still Tippin") beat, giving it a tone similar to "Lukey World" but those bars come hard, as hard as anything we've heard from him in, like, forever.
