Jamie xx's collaboration with Young Thug and Popcaan on "I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)" off of his latest album In Colour has held it's own as a magnetic summer hit. As if it hasn't been enjoyed enough, the producer took to the stage last night at his show in L.A. to reinvent the electrifying production and debut an extended dancehall version for the audience. In addition to adding a full verse from Popcaan on the new version, Jamie xx enlisted help from dancehall artists including the Queens-based Kranium, the "The Blacker the Berry" and "I'm In It" featured artist Assassin and Konshens to close the whole thing out.

As explained by the producer's label Young Turks, the version is an official remix of the single courtesy of Dre Skull. Watch Jamie xx perform the extended version above, look for it to drop soon and catch him on tour in the U.S. through October before he heads over to Europe (full dates here).

Last night in LA Jamie xx played an unfinished version of I Know Theres Gonna Be Good Times, remixed by the one and only @dreskull
It features @PopcaanMusic @therealkranium @KonshensSojah @agentsasco and as soon as its done, you'll hear it
