With Apple Music launching today, it's sure to dominate the news as people navigate the new service's Connect and Beats 1 features. However, what you might not know is that Shazam launched a new feature yesterday. In their attempt to connect fans closer to artists, Shazam has launched a partnership with over two dozen artists that will allow users to see which songs their favorite musicians are listening to on the service.
Illustrating that "the biggest the stars in the world are also the biggest fans," you will be able to see what Alicia Keys, Tove Lo, Meghan Trainor, Usher, Nick Jonas are all Shazaming by looking directly at their artists pages. As users choose artists to follow within the platform, their home pages will reflect the recent tags of those artists. Other artist participants include Robin Thicke, Maroon 5, Wiz Khalifa, Avicii, Calvin Harris, Alesso and more. You can watch the whole promotional video below.
