Since the duo's inception in 1993, people have long wondered who are the men behind the Daft Punk masks. Today BBC Worldwide France announced they will be releasing a documentary titled Daft Punk Unchained that will aim to shed a light on the duo's long-casted masked shadows as they document the two-decade career of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo.

Directed by Hervé Martin Delpierre and co-written with Marina Rozenman, the documentary will feature archival interview footage from 1996 through 2013 as well as enlist the help of famous friends and collaborators for exclusive interviews including Giorgio Moroder, Kanye West, Leiji Matsumoto, Michel Gondry, Paul Williams, Peter Lindbergh, Nile Rodgers, Todd Edwards, Tony Gardner, Pedro Winter, Pharrell Williams and Pete Tong. The documentary will also feature an original "Unchained Theme" composed and arranged by Joseph Trapanese who collaborated with Daft Punk on the score for Tron: Legacy in 2010.

Look for Daft Punk Unchained to premiere June 24 on Canal+ in France and distributed internationally by BBC Worldwide.
