Tyler, The Creator's Cherry Bomb album—which he dropped with little notice on iTunes—soared to a top five debut earlier this week, but it looks like he missed out on some potential sales opportunities in the process. According to a tweet from Tyler, Target refused to carry the album in their stores because he released it digitally first. This isn't a new thing; Target did the same with Beyoncé when she dropped her surprise album back in 2013. Tyler's album is currently available on iTunes and Amazon, as well as in other retail stores like Best Buy where he offers fans the choice of five different covers to choose from.
