With the premiere of HBO's Kurt Cobain documentary, Montage of Heck, getting closer and closer, we get another short clip from the film. Debuted by The New York Times, the clip features Cobain talking about performing in a room for two people, but still considering it a show whether they loved it or not. The clip also included a snippet of a conversation with former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic, where he talked about Kurt expressing his art no matter what, and even did so when he was a janitor before the band was discovered. "He'd always have to do some kind of art—usually defacing something," Novoselic said.

In the New York Times article, director Brett Morgen also cleared up the confusion with Dave Grohl's involvement in the film, and confirmed that he won't be included in the DVD release. Montage of Heck debuts on HBO on May 4.
