It's been a year since R&B maestro Gallant dropped his self-released Zebra EP, winning him attention from around the globe. Since then, he's signed with the Mind Of A Genius label, though little else was heard from him until now. His latest track, "Open Up," balances softly-spoken vocals with harsh, yet, ambient tones that add a jagged edge to the track. It's the uplifting crescendo of the chorus that makes this track, creating a bitter-sweet call to a lover to do exactly what it says on the tin.
"Open Up" is a teaser for Gallant's upcoming EP, which is scheduled for release this summer.
