Last year, Drake and Lil Wayne dropped a certified banger with "Believe Me," where Drizzy rapped, "On the road I do One Direction numbers, I don't fucking miss." Well, now it looks like former One Direction member, Zayn Malik, is looking to do Drake numbers with his solo career, and is reportedly going out on his own due in large part from the influence of Drizzy and his music.

According to Hollywood Life, Zayn was listening to a ton of Drake's music when he decided to go out on his own, and he's hoping to have the special Drake touch when it comes to rapping and singing on songs. “He’s really been listening to a lot of Drake’s stuff, and has been inspired by his work and wants to channel a little bit of that," said the source. While Zayn apparently has his sights aimed high, it still remains to be seen if he has what it takes to make it big solo.

In any case, teenage girls are still crying about the One Direction breakup.
